Thank you. All my kids have been around my guns and have been allowed to see or touch them as long as they ask, which has helped remove the curiosity factor. She however has really taken to shooting.

Sounds like you are anticipating the recoil. You need to do some dry firing to correct it. Do a lot of dry firing. It will make you a much better shot without costing you anything but time. Also make sure you are using a strong grip with your off hand not your trigger finger hand.
