We use wood heat, supplemented only by occasional electric space heaters. I have used a Fiskers splitting Axe for all my wood (~6-7 cord) for the last 3 years. May not be a viable option for all, but I can keep pace with a hydraulic splitter on all but the knottiest pieces. And I'm no stud...
I presume any dealer worth their salt would give you a refund, especially if you hadn't used the suppressor in the wait time. I don't know for certain, as I haven't been denied so far.
Thanks guys! I purchased the one from Grey Wolf on Saturday, now the wait for the ATF. I'm just hoping I get to use it for firearm season this deer season.
Does anyone know of an Indiana shop that has a SilencerCo Saker 7.62 in stock? I plan to buy one in the next month and would like to minimize my wait time if it doesn't add too much cost. Thanks!
We started lest spring with 20 chicks (buff Orpington). Ten have survived (we tried a very brief free-range trial, and our resident hawk and a couple of critters decimated the flock), and we have ample egg production. Hopefully we can get a brood or two this year, we plan to have nature raise...
I chose the Sparrow as well. Just go with your preference. There are myriad cost/benefit/quality situations, only you know what you want/ can afford. The exception - Huntertown Arms. Recent bad reviews has led me to encourage people to look elsewhere...
Kirk, I love you. In a heterosexual, you-put-things-just-oh-so-eloquent kinda way. I don't always agree with your opinion, but you're attention to fact is refreshing.
Love home-made hominy. Grandpa used to make it all the time!

Rotated winter supplies out of the GHB and put in warm weather necessities. Partially set up a 50 gal rain barrel. Bought a Leatherman Raptor shears. Planted our new dwarf lemon in a pot. Caught a walleye (woohoo!). Bought a couple 2015 Silver Eagles for each boy's birthday this year (still need...
I recently became involved with the local volunteer EMS, and am curious about these shears as well. Thanks for the review RS, and do you have these in stock Brad?

Only late winter when the sap is running. I bought the plastic spiles off of Amazon, gave like 12 bucks for ten of 'em. Sufficient for our needs. Ideally you tap mid February-ish, but you don't want to tap while the trees are frozen or you risk damaging them when you set your spiles. As...
