Choose only one caliber for suppression

I also think a 22 would be the best one for suppression, and a bolt action would have the less noise, no bolt movement as in a semi-auto, and with the ammo you can get some real quiet 22 ammo, I have some now that are just primer no power and they are real quiet as is

HD shotgun, traditional or pistol grip?

You should check on the laws, I bought a pistol grip shotgun couple years ago and it was considered a handgun as all laws for handguns apply, things might have changed but you better check, I bought thus at a indiana gun shop and live in mich and had to have it shipped to local dealer only...

More Guns Means More, Not Fewer, Calls To The Police

As a reserve for 20 years you are so right, when we get a call it is because the crime has already happened , it was fer and few that we saw what was going on, and in some areas it might take police some time to get to your area, one PD i worked at was a township 36 sq miles, it some times took...

      Worst gun you ever bought!

Maybe the the worst gun, ok maybe it was, a jennings 22, and I shot that gun to death, after couple years and to many rds to count it started to double and triple tap when i pull the trigger, was neat, took it to local gun shop to see about getting it fixed and gun smith took it apart right in...

What do you think of Taurus these days?

I had a Taurus model 85 for 20 years and let it go in a trade, I got a nice gun , but will replace it soon, most revolvers are made or were made on old s&w machines when s&w moved out of there factory, and I know a lot of people have great reviews on them

Do you carry an extra magazine (or speedloader for revolver)?

What if your gun jams up and you have to drop the mag to do a reload what then, just because you have 15,18,20 rds in your gun does not mean you should not have extra ammo on hand, and if you drop the mag clean out the jam ( i am sure you have practice this) then what you bend down to get your...

If you could do it over again...

If I could go back and do a few things over, their were a few guns I would have keep and not trades off over the years, a colt diamond back 22, a colt 1911, a colt 380, some s&w's, even ruger's, but you can't go back so now you just have to bang your head on a wall

Can you share photos of the wear on your polymer frame after heavy use?

I have been thinking on getting one now I don't know, it doesn't look like any steel rails in it like a glock or others, the PD i worked at issued us glock 22's and for 10 years I shot it all the time( ammo was free) and when they replaced them with glock 21's we had a choice to buy our issued...

A Springfield is a good one to go with, I have heard some things about the RIA's, look online and go to 1911 reviews to check them out, I have 2 full size, a springfield loaded and s&w with rail, a springfield champion with 4 1/4 bbl, and a para with 3 1/2 bbl, all nice and shot great, but the...

Keep an eye on your bank accounts

and also remember that if you have a saving or any other account that you don't use that with new laws if you have a inactive account that after 3 years if you have done nothing to it it will go to state or government as lost fund, bull if you ask me,

I used to keep a 38 in car at all times, but traded it in moment of weakness, so now i will have to replace it, back in the day there was so many guns i wanted to get and have quite a few nice ones now, but always go back to my glocks to carry, the PD i worked for used them so a have done a lot...

How far do you extend your pistol skill?

I would think it would depends on what you are training for, self defense, 20 yards and under, most gun fights are at close range, I have seen videos for professionals in real shot outs over the hood of a car miss, it sis one thing to punch holes in paper and another to have someone shooting...

FINALLY settled on a carry handgun!

I have never had a kimber, don't know why, you either love then or hate them from what i can see, I have a lot of nice handguns and always consider carrying one or the other but just keep going back to my glocks and all the others just become safe queens
