I don't have the tactical model but I do have a 509 midsize optic ready with a SRO on it.
being a striker fire, the stock trigger wasn't that great so I did put an after market trigger in it. made it much more bearable. I used the apex trigger kit.
im gonna have to jump on the .40 hate band wagon. had one and couldn't stand it, sold it shortly there after and have never looked back.
ill stick with my 9, 45acp, and 44mag for my handgun selection
question about ammo storage. I watched a YouTube clip about a gun safe that went thru a house fire and the safe had both firearms and ammo inside.
should you or shouldn't you store ammo(any amount) in the same safe as you store your guns? say you can only afford one safe at the moment, should...
must admit I am really liking this. does anyone actually have any time behind one of these beauty's'? what is the quality like? actually worth the price?

if you haven't tried looking/fondling a fn 509 midsize and fn 502, I would recommend it.
they are almost identical in a .22 and 9mm platform. the nice thing is I can use the same kydex molded holster for both. they are both optic ready and the base plates for the different manufacturers of...
coincidentally that happened to my cousin's 365xl. put less than 2 boxes ammo thru and boom, locked up. couldn't even field strip it. she sent it in and they fixed it(broken spring).
hoping its a coincidence and not a trend in the 365s
if you guys like the 365XL then you should look at their new 365 version; p365 legion. boy oh boy they look nice but the price not so much.

I bought an integrally suppressed SBR for a 2 tax stamp purchase. 1/18/24 filed for both, SBR and Suppressor, at the same time using form 4 e-file. received my SBR tax stamp in 40days'ish and still waiting on suppressor tax stamp.
don't understand how both were not processed at the same time...
sorry it has taken me so long to get back to this but good news; cleaning the bolt and firing pin channel did the trick. no more light fires! fired all shells with no light strikes. so glad all it took was a little more meticulous cleaning.
when I sent one of my suppressors in to get worked on, the company just wanted a copy of the tax stamp (the one correlated to the suppressor) in the package along with what is being shipped. also pretty sure 2 day shipping is required but done quote me on that, lol
I always tell myself this, no buying firearms this year....save save save!
then I see something that I can't live without, of course, or see a deal I can't pass up.
I just need to stop looking at places that sell firearms/firearms related products. on second thought, that won't happen either...
