Im gonna second the bolt gun for another point mentioned. Most of us who are big time shooters reload our own ammo. Semi autos tend to be harder and brass and require you to chase it down later.
For the money i think the gallery has beat a dead horse . That said best all around shotgun, KSG. It allows the most versatility with its dual loading tubes. Allows for a quick change of situation. Hunting to self defense in a flip of a switch. Especially useful when your somewhere that has...
I carry both of my double stacks. I carry my fnp9 owb and if i want to carry iwb i have a cheap holster that fits my 229 better for that purpose. That said its really more about the day then the time of year.
Id be curious what design that would base it off of because my fnp gets no love and i think it if just and absolutely wonderful gun. The fnx is heralded like a kimber or sig.
The most important thing for me is making sure i have a holster i can trust. I needs to completely cover the trigger assembly at all costs. Thats more importanty to me then the built in safety bc those are mechanical and can fail but its pretty hard to fire a fun under any circumstances if...
I didnt buy it but an original lc9 was the worst gun ever for me. I shot the beautiful ladies beside me when i was at knob creek. It was the opitome of a miserable trigger. I really thought about one until that day.
I love the p90 especially over the mp5 but it really doenst accomplish anything when you consider the cost of them. What i would give to have each of them in my personal collection but it accomplishes nothing that my 9mm and my m4 cant do as well or better.
The worst thing about these people is that people have become so knee jerk in todays society. Just look at the Ray Rice secondary suspension. What he did was wrong but he never denied any of it but becuase it showed up on tv it all of a sudden wasnt what it was at first. Everytime a kid shows up...
Another nice thing about getting the 9 is that it gives you some versatility if shtf. I dont believe in the inevitable doomsday but its kind of comforting that if i ever have to scavenge i can scavenge multiple very popular calibers.
For what it is i really like it over the older revolvers. I think it looks more like a blend of a revolver and a glock. Something to appease those who arent all about the older revolvers. Exactly what im looking for.
I dont think the army should ever get away from a safety. FOr all of the you who have been there done that you have seen the level of stupidity and or familiarity for firearms. How many accidental or negligent discharges have you seen . I dont know how far outside the box you could get with...
The curve on the handle isnt designed to fit your body but just to cut down on silhouetting. Its going to be more effective for everyone in that aspect. Just so everyone knows im not for or against this gun but i really feel it is taking an unnecessary backlash just because it looks different...
Remember this when you talk about being rediculous. Do any of you remember the backlash of the poly pistols. The backlash against the glocks was crazy and now the "plastic guns" have really taken over the mid priced gun catagory.
Ok what if this is a smith or a glock or a kimber or something? Is so much of the hate on this thing because its made by taurus compared to its unique design
I will agree with you on that mindset vette. I dont know if it comes into to many peoples minds but when i rack a new round its only that round that matters. when you dont have to come off the scope i dont know if you maintain the same concentration.
