      New Primer Manufacturing Company

I wonder why no one has wanted to establish a new Primer manufacturing company? There is such huge demand now, and likely to continue for the foreseeable future. It strikes me that this would be a fantastic business to jump into. I’m sure there are lots of legal permits and hurdles to jump...

Looking into digital powder measures. Who has one?

I have the RCBS Chargemaster. Only use it for rounds that the Dillon 450 powder dispenser has problems with accuracy: i.e, very small charges like 380 Auto. Chargemaster is a champ for this using RCBS Rockchucker.

How do you manage your hands shaking when aiming?

I'm over 70 and no longer as steady as I used to be just a few years ago. Just happens to you as you get older. Adding weight (i.e. large capacity mags, heavier pistol) won't work as strength diminishes as part of this problem. Bummer!! Encourage your kids to be proficient and visit often.

Mind Set: Keeping a Firearm in Vehicle

Carry when you can, leave it in Tesla glove compartment when you can’t carry. Tesla can optionally put a PIN required to open glove compartment, plus has a Sentry mode which videos any movement around car (front, sides, rear), and sends alarm to your phone if someone tries to break in.

      Your First Handgun

My first gun was the S&W .22 LR and .22 Magnum, silver (maybe their term was something other than "silver" ... been too long ago). My home at that time was in Perry Township (south side of Indianapolis) and was broken into and this gun was stolen. I've missed it ever since. When shooting mags...

Ford's Audacious Plan to Save $25 Billion: Cut Every Car Except These Two Models

      Used Dillon Presses

I've had Hornady LnL AP, Dillon 550b and 650 (and RCBS Rockchucker). The only progressives I have left is the 550b, served me well for many years. Solves 2 issues I had with the 650: 1) Primer gets stuck in feed system, or won't fully seat in cartridge. MUCH easier to fix in a 550. 2) rvg says...

Advice needed about reloading press I could use!

The greater the complexity of the press the more “fiddling” is required: press setup for a new run, caliber changes, periodic quality checks during a load run (i.e., checking powder throw weight, OAL, etc.), clearing primer jams, restocking casefeeder (and/or bullet feeder) reservoir, etc. I...

      New Gun

I really like my 9mm Shield. I also have small hands. I bought a 9mm KH P30, a much larger pistol, and EXPENSIVE, because it had interchangeable grips for width AND length so a small person could handle it. Turns out I still like the Shield much better. It's accurate and reliable (I've shot over...

      The first gun you shot?

Winchester model 12 410 that my father gave to me age 14 (Louisiana). Lots of dove hunting at the time; I got better than the "old people" with 12 gauge.

I'm about to say some very, very Bad Words (tm)

I have a Black & Decker Dustbuster that I often use to clean small amounts of powder that end up in primer trays (single stage) or on shell plate area (Dillon 550b) with no problem. I always clean out the vac after use. But my press is in my garage over a cement floor, so I can just drop the...

      question for u 9mm reloaders

For plinking, I use 124 grain RN (Berry) with 3.7 grains Titegroup for S&W 9mm Shield. This load works fine for a 3.8" barrel on the Sheild, but insufficient for reliable operation in HK P30 (4.0 grains Titegroup works OK for plinking on HK).
