INVENTORY REDUCTION SALE!
So, I have accumulated way too much inventory of a few specific items. In order to reduce inventory levels to a manageable amount, we are having a sale on these items. In order to move these items quickly, practically all of these items are being sold BELOW WHOLESALE...
Hodgdon does not own any powder manufacturers. When they sold Goex, they quit manufacturing powder. They are strictly a packaging and marketing company now. They purchase powder from several different manufacturers from around the globe.
The biggest reason (not the only reason) for the price...
If my understanding is correct, there is still a chance that they will take a different offer from a different buyer. They are still negotiating.

I bought a P7M8 back in the late 90s. IIRC, I paid $400 for it (about market price at the time). About 15 years later, I sold the empty box for $399 and the manual for $95 on eBay. I still carry the P7M8.
It shoots great. It does get hot when you put a lot of rounds downrange at a time...

There are also a lot of places that don't sell stuff very fast and just haven't had to replace it recently. My prices change rapidly because we move products rapidly. $30 for W231 is a great price (that is actually below wholesale today), but I'd be amazed if the powder was made recently. It's...
We actually get people that request them. Small pistol primers are much more available and less expensive. The key is to buy them pre-sorted in large quantities and just keep them separated. For people that do small lots, it's probably not worth the time though.
We have them in stock, but they are new stock. Unfortunately, that means they are at 2024 prices. It looks like the other links posted are at last year's prices. Last year's retail price is this year's wholesale price...
It's still a pretty new show, so I'm not sure what to expect. The first 2 shows were once a year. This will be the first time a gun show has been done in the spring at this location. Previously, we were only able to schedule them in the middle of summer, during the slow season.
That being said...
They are just rebranded Unis Ginex primers. Sometimes they literally just put Cam Pro stickers on the Ginex boxes. I believe Prvi Partizan uses them, if I'm not mistaken.
$69 for a pound of Unique is insane right now. We just sold out a couple days ago, but we were selling it for $51.41 + tax (which I still think is high).
Yes, powder prices have gone up dramatically. Unfortunately (I really hope I'm wrong about this), I expect powder prices to at least double...
They don't have to do that. There were license plate readers and cameras installed all around the fairgrounds by the Lake County Sheriff's Department. They can do it from the comfort of an office building. They were made famous during "Operation Scarecrow".
^^^ This.
SWAT style raids are probably unnecessary about 90% of the time they are used. Many times they have the potential to make the situation much more dangerous. 50 or 60 years ago people would be appalled at the tactics used by law enforcement today.
The failed war on drugs made the...
