I was out coyote hunting and called in a bobcat! It's the first time that I have ever witnessed a bobcat in the wild! I thought it was a real privilege. I snapped a quick pic of him with my phone, but the quality isn't very good...
Harvested a 7pnt buck with my muzzleloader from Mascatatuck this year. A lot of flooding, but good hunting none the less. Here's a picture of my pup Gage enjoying one of the antlers.
Had a great time taking the Brittany pup down to the Put & Take this year. We signed up for 3 days and harvested our 6 pheasant. I'd sure love to take him to South Dakota or Iowa some day.

We were selected for the Deer Reduction at Summit Lake State Park this year. The draw information says that they do not assign zones or parking. Not sure what to expect.
Does anyone have any experience hunting out there? What did you think?

I've heard that letting a deer hang over night will improve the flavor. I'm not so sure that it's a good idea with as warm as it's been.
Also, does it make it a difference one way or the other in processing?
