Thank you. I thought I remembered some good 2A lawyers being mentioned in the past, but my googling didn't find anything that rung a bell.
If the mods wish to lock this now, that'd be fine, thanks.
Greetings all.
Unfortunately, my father was pulled over this evening, and his truck was searched, since the k9 "hit" on his bag. A subsequent search found no drugs (of course), but he did have his browning hi power in it.
He hasn't had an ltch in years, and has been meaning to get a lifetime...
i generally prefer rifles as stumpy as i can get them, except in the odd case of the m1a, which i think proportionally works better with the longer barrel. that being said, however, hnnnnnng.
"you can't take weapons out around children". never mind the fact that if they hadn't been armed, he could easily be dead or severely injured, over something as ridiculous as a kid not playing in a football game. smh
actually, i'm dumb. for some reason i always think indianapolis when i see isp, not indiana state police. i was wondering why the indianapolis swat team would be in fort wayne. never mind.
i love how the groups that constantly claim to be rallying for peace and common sense are the first ones that start making violent threats and wishing death on people. most of the gun owners you see are calmly discussing the problem, and making pointed arguments against their claims, and they...
there's also a letter regarding using the brace by placing it against your shoulder like a stock. not sure if you're aware. as of now, the atf says this is ok, because how you use an item doesn't change the nature of the item, basically. i'd keep a copy of that one on you as well.
and also...
that is indeed what i meant. if i'm unarmed, and someone well outside of arm's length initiates a draw, i'm going to be exiting stage right as quickly as my legs will carry me, while imploring all the gods i can think of to make sure he's a poor marksman.
i think if i'm unarmed, and someone ten feet away starts to draw a pistol, i'm going to consider that ten feet a head start. an inadequate head start, but a head start none the less.
every waitress in that restaurant deserves a place of honor in our beautiful women packing heat thread.
some of the antis in the comments on that article are ridiculous. "if having a gun was truly protection, then no one with a gun would ever be shot by another person with a gun". what kind of...
I've carried my glock 17 in a cheap uncle Mike's iwb with a snug drawstring before with no real issues.
When out for a walk/run I sometimes wear my pistol belt over my shorts with a owb. It's much more secure for when you know you're going to be jiggling it a lot etc.
i'll first throw in a +1 for the aliengear. i followed a suggestion for them in another thread, and couldn't be happier. for less than the price of a crossbreed, i got a complete holster for my glock, and a shell for my cz75, and if i ever get rid of either, they'll exchange the shell for free...
there's been a fair amount of penetration testing done with 12 gauge bird shot. at close range, it's quite effective against a human, and is much less likely to overpenetrate than a solid projectile, or even buck shot. What you always wanted to know... But were unable to test yourself! The Box o...
