      It's been a while

      Hi all, It's been a while since my last post, so I thought you might like to know what I've been doing. In October 2010 I came third in a 300yd shoot and in October 2011 I came first shooting at the same distance. The rifle I used is a 308 C.Z Varmint 550, so here in the UK we can own weapons...

      That's another thing in my country we can not shoot bird's even if they are vermin, you have to have permission to shoot on farm land and a licence to shoot feathered vermin. The only animal's we can shoot without a licence are rat's and the grey squirrel.

      Another change

      On Saturday i went to my local gun shop for some Hodgdons varget, to my amazement i had to show my licence. This is another change our government has imposed on us without any notification. Because shooter's here are in the minority we can make no difference to our governments way of thinking.

      Just a rumer i heard, some state in the US the citizens there are asking permission for side arms to be worn on their hip. If this is true i can only say good look to them and if they get it there's hope for us in getting our pistol's back.

      357 or 44 Mag Rifle..Which One???

      I have a 357 winchester and for target shooting i find the accuracy very good, Could possibly be more accurate than a 44 because of less recoil but not sure about the latter.

      I think i should explain how diffiult it is to get an F.A.C (Firearm certificate) here in the UK first you have to belong to a gun club or have shooting rights on your or someone else's land the right's if you shoot on someone else's land must be in writing and must be in triplicate the farmer...

      slowed down abit, not heard of any knife crime lately but there was a shooting one dead and one in intensive care, B,Ham city centre. I think it was an American who said quote if guns are outlawed it will be only the outlaws that will have them unquote.
