Thank you. I am trying to avoid having a massive overhang on the front of the pistol with a bulbous light. The TLR 7 or 8 seems like it would fit what I am looking for. Nice to know that it also can easily bump itself on.
Looking at an Olight weapon light for my Glock 29, specifically the Baldr Mini. I wanted to know if anyone had any experience using one of their weaponlights and if they liked the product or think it is worth the extra money to buy a Streamlight. Thanks!
I’m looking for a compact pistol chambered in .45 ACP. If you have one you’re willing to part with please comment or message me. Preferably central to southern Indiana.
Almost anytime you shoot someone in the back in Indiana, they’re going to call it unnecessary force. When they turn their back and flee, no matter whether they’re armed or not, the law sees them as no longer an “active threat”. There was a case around 4 years ago in Brownsburg where a criminal...
Are people who still own their bump stocks from prior to the ban going to get in trouble if they own “pre-ban” stocks? I’m just confused on how they were illegal and we are supposed to get rid of them all, now they’re legal to own again.
You would be arrested and charged, but similar to other self defense scenarios a judge would either drop the case or a jury would find you not guilty. At most I could see a charge for possession of a firearm on school property, but I don’t think you’d serve actual jail time for stopping a school...
Along with that, they also keep quiet stories that paint guns in a positive light. A recent example being the man who shot the store thief in Texas, I’ve only seen the story on Fox News and the NRA social media website. All of the other MSM networks are silent.
I agree with exercising your legal right to carry, but you also have to have some knowledge of the current cultural situation. With shootings occurring daily, many people are going to assume automatically that you could be a potential threat. It’s just ignorance and someone looking for attention...
I’ve been hoping that we’ll see the Mike Pence running for re-election signs soon. Sadly I think that being VP has inspired him to be in a position bigger than Governor.
You’re forgetting that fact that he spends taxpayer money as it’s going out of style. We give Indianapolis and South Bend so much money for their mayors to spend it on useless bike lanes rather than cleaning up the city. He can’t even hold them accountable, I don’t expect him to run a state well.
That was my understanding, that as long as you presented no threat to the officer that they’d never ask. I agree also that you never want to use the word “gun”. I saw other comments referring to their hostler rather than firearm specifically and I feel like that could be helpful to keep a...
As a young girl she used to hunt and shoot guns with her dad and grandpa all the time so she understands basic firearm safety. I’d be looking into a self defense class for myself so I’d love to bring her along also. Do you have any recommendations on classes?
I’ll have to double check then, because last I checked Illinois doesn’t recognize Indiana CCWs. Do you have a website link? I want to make sure I know exactly what I need incase I ever travel through Illinois. Thanks.
She travels often for work between local states and when not traveling she works downtown Indy late at night. Just something small for her to carry in her purse while walking to her car late at night.
I’ve heard good things about the PSA rifles, specifically their AR-15, so I’d assume their pistols are of similar quality. Obviously with a sub $1000 gun you’re getting what you pay for, but I think they price quite fair.
