Iraq vet charged with firing gun to scare suspected burglar

Since you took a week to respond to my prior comment I ASSumed you just considered the point dead. Guess not. Sorry, since I don't know your customs, I only stumbled upon this post when I was going through old tabs on a computer. Now while I could point all all your points, and once again...

Iraq vet charged with firing gun to scare suspected burglar

I know this won't be a popular view, but it's why warning shots are asinine. It's the easiest argument in the world for a non-gun person to make the connection between firing a gun without fear for you life-why do you need a gun? If you draw a gun and pull the trigger, you are responsible for...

Iraq vet charged with firing gun to scare suspected burglar

Because warning shots don't exist. If you fire a gun, you are introducing lethal force to a situation. You're either escalating or reacting to a situation. You can't go higher then lethal force. Therefore, shoot to kill or don't at all. Otherwise the prosecution has a field day on the shooter...

      Friend from Commiefornia

I love how we ***** about places like Commiefornia then take offense at the youths of these areas rebelling against the same tyranny that we make fun of. I get the annoyance of repainting (we had to do the same as well) but tagging and gangs aren't exactly the same thing. It's like being 100%...

      Friend from Commiefornia

So he's been here two years? I don't know if that's enough of a culture change for him to be afraid of Indy yet.... I think the best way is to get him into guns first. Take him shooting, get him enjoying firearms before anything else. Everyone out here has to remember if you come from a higher...

WTS: Protect Yourself from the Dreaded 21 Foot Rule

One last payday bump. Then back to the duffel bag they go. Two green, one tan left.

WTS: Protect Yourself from the Dreaded 21 Foot Rule

1 Tan, 3 Green left. Kermit has been fired as a marketing agent.

The last five bayonets would like to have a word with you. They see you. You're watching this sale ad, waiting. Thinking hmm, I would like one, but I don't know. My wife says I have too much stuff lying around. Too much junk. It's just another thing that'll lie around in the junk drawer...

WTS: Protect Yourself from the Dreaded 21 Foot Rule

Everyone who's paid has had their stabby shipped. Some even have stabbies on their gun, keeping them safe from katana wielding ninjas of the night. Do you?

WTS: Protect Yourself from the Dreaded 21 Foot Rule

Shipped out another yesterday, have a couple people who say they'll meet in person today. I'll let everyone know after tomorrow how many I still have.

Responded to PMs, sorry about the late response. Work happens. Sold a couple, still have a bunch of little stabby guys. They're lonely without a gun to be with :(

WTS: Protect Yourself from the Dreaded 21 Foot Rule

Most of us carry a pistol for self defense. Quite a few of us also use a handgun for protection at home as well. Well I've discovered a hole in our planning. It is "duh duh duh....." the 21 Foot Rule. Edged Weapon Defense: Is or was the 21-foot rule valid? (Part 1) Long story short, a suspect...

      Vaccinations. Yes or no ?

Sometimes people who don't have an emotional response to something are the best ones to make that decision. You wouldn't want someone who knew nothing about hunting, but had a family member die in a hunting accident making judgement calls about who should hunt where. They'll respond that no one...

      Vaccinations. Yes or no ?

It's 1 in a 1,000 for measles. 1 in 100,000 is for the curable Gullain-Barr. Very few do die, it's a slim chance in civilized countries. As for the "young and know everything" crack, I'm young enough to do stupid things, but old enough to pay for it the next day. Most of my friends my age have...

      Vaccinations. Yes or no ?

I don't think it makes you a bad parent at all dad, just making emotional decisions. You're betting against a 1 in 100,000 chance in getting a disease that's highly curable, which is quite often caused by the disease it's trying to protect you against, for a 1 in 1,000 chance of your child dying...

      Vaccinations. Yes or no ?

I truly hope this is true and your lapse of scrolling ability earlier was only that. I also hope that when you stated that there's no potential harm to others you knew that there could be, but forgot that part temporally. Either way, the point is moot. If you don't want to be part of society...

      Vaccinations. Yes or no ?

I'm just saying it makes sense to compare a choice to endanger yourself and others having social consequences to being born from a certain genetic heritage and murdered for it. You stay classy Ram. You have the choice, yes, but there's consequences for your decision. You don't get vaccinated...

      Vaccinations. Yes or no ?

Yep, you've got it. Constitution doesn't state anything against someone shooting up your house and family either. It doesn't say you can't start fire to public buildings. But these things are part of public contract. You're part of a society, as long as you help protect the group. Basic nature...
