      Cost to thread barrels?

      Threading is usually about $100. Cut and thread runs more, of course. I do my work on a Smithy 1224XL. I center with a 4-jaw on the barrel as far through the headstock as I can get it, then use the live center in the muzzle. I've never had a complaint about alignment. I'm a retired Quality...

      Another new "rule" incoming? No more private sales without a ffl involved?

      I am an FFL Type 01 Gunsmith. I am required to do a 4473 even if I sell a gun I've owned for years. For me, it's just part of the territory. FFL's don't get to do private sales because we are "engaged in the business." Even though my business is primarily repair, restoration, and customizing.

      Sig P320 slide stuck on fcu

      I can't really tell from the pictures but the misalignment appears to be serious. Was the slide moving backward or forward when it jammed? Reversing that direction *might* clear the problem. Barring that, find a good gunsmith near you to get it squared away, and make sure nothing is out of spec.
