Reliable places to buy used guns?

You'll basically need to buy a new one if you are looking for the exact optics ready, no thumb safety, and newer factory flat trigger. That said I have 3 M&P 2.0s and owned more of them over the years. Apex makes an aftermarket flat trigger you can add easily to any older model. The hinged...

      selling in the classifieds

I've dealt with buying and selling as part of the gun hobby going back about 25 years now. Armslist when it was free, Facebook gun groups before the crackdown, etc etc etc. In all that time in Oklahoma, Illinois, and just recently now Indiana I got a call I didn't want just one time. I was at...

Looking for input on 4 or 5 guns for EDC

Stick with the AR platform and sell the AKs and 7.62 ammo for a good profit they are worth much more right now. A standard sized G19 or M&P double stack 9mm is all you need for a pistol and are easy to carry. I use a M&P with a thumb safety 15 round capacity for EDC besides my 357 J frame. I...

      The prettiest revolvers out there.

That Colt is gorgeous and I'd love one just like yours with a six inch barrel. The early 686s like mine with medallion grips, forged trigger/pin on the hammer, and no internal lock are very pretty to me also.

PART 2: I'm new an your 50-post rule sucks! Please change it for my convenience.

It was worth the $20 bucks! Already met two members for deals and was referred here by another member before that. I'll reach 50 posts at some point. Just damn glad to be an Indiana resident spent 7 years of purgatory in Illinois and even though the taxes on my house there were zero due to my...

SW 640 Pro thoughts and comparison question

The 640 for me is a little heavy for a pocket gun. I've been carrying a M&P340 no lock with hogues to get my whole hand on it for years in a sticky holster in my right cargo pocket of my Duluth flex fire hose pant and short wardrobe. I wouldn't go back to a 640 from the M&P340 personally. As far...

      Renewing/Applying for LTCH...

It seems like this process has completely changed and I just moved to Indiana last month. I have an Indiana DL and home residence in Indiana. Where do I start in 2023 to get the lifetime permit that the other states recognize?

      AR-15 carry ammo

I currently stock M193 and M855 for practice/carry. I figured if it ain't broke don't fix it both worked fine for me on deployments.

How to buy a firearm as a new resident?

I got South County Guns to sell me a shotgun I wanted on a paper license but yeah you are gonna need your Indiana DL to get going in the hobby here. The BMV was pretty fast and easy to deal with for proof of residency at least by me. We just moved in September. What was a shock was the cost of...

What is the most reliable handgun for Self Defense under $400

My experience with both the Shield and the M&P 9mms is that they are utterly reliable, accurate, and easy to shoot in that price range. Used M&P 9mm for 400 will be better than any new gun for the same money.

      AMMO SUPPLIES 5,56

I got lucky this time around just relocated to IN and stocked up a little before any of the current crop of panic inducing events started. Just about out of all the 2019 priced boxes though.

      $500 vs $2500 AR-15

How well maintained do you think say state police AR15s are? I recently traded for a Colt AR-15A3 and it functions checks fine, the parts all seem low wear besides what you would expect like the Daniels Defense endplate has a lot of wear on the sling mounting slot for example. The FFL had...
