      Rossi R92 .44 mag

I do know about him and his website, I don't necessarily want a lighter trigger or hammer. What I have determined that I do need, is a lighter ejector spring and a metal follower for the magazine tube. I already got it smooth otherwise, I can operate it with one finger easily enough. But I think...

      Rossi R92 .44 mag

I neglected to take more photos, but shot my new Rossi today I was expecting kick but man it does beat your shoulder up haha So I did have a first for me a failure of a primer on Magtech flat nose partial copper jacket .44 mag dropped the hammer on it a bunch of times it had to be a bad primer...

      INGO HAM Radio Club

Thanks! I am guessing by station you mean the equipment. So far I have 2 Baofeng UV-5Rs with longer foldable antenna's and larger batteries, I was waiting to get my license before looking into HF stuff, I am thinking of probably doing a truck set-up because I don't really have a good place in my...

I wasn't necessarily thinking of doing the extra not sure I am going to go that hard core on HF, I just did the general so I have the options other then 10 meter. But if I do end up doing HF more I will probably do the extra at that time.

Passed my technicians and generals tests last night 92% on the technician and 100% on the general. Now just to wait for stuff to go thru FCC so I can pay the fee and get my call sign.

      Long Gun Show and Tell

Just picked this Rossi R92 16" stainless .44 mag with the etched 1776 flag today. I watched quite a few videos and reviews on it and honestly it was nicer then I was expecting. The machine work, trigger, and lever was smoother then I expected. Still did find some sharp edges around the loading...

Garand Thumb tests PSA Freedom AR15

So going with the BCG thing, what do you guys think is a better BCG? The PSA premium, or Toolcraft? Or maybe some other recommendations. I do find it odd that PSA is having these issues, I don't necessarily consider them to be the bottom of budget AR's because the big reason they are cheap is...

Garand Thumb tests PSA Freedom AR15

On their website his motto is Freedom over Profit Palmetto State Armory’s core principle remains the same, and our commitment to freedom before profit remains unwavering. The idea is simple: SELL AS MANY GUNS TO AS MANY LAW-ABIDING AMERICANS AS POSSIBLE. Putting guns into "common use" is an...

Garand Thumb tests PSA Freedom AR15

They definitely have their different uses. Long range shooting can definitely be more interesting.

Garand Thumb tests PSA Freedom AR15

It wasn't inherently bad, it just was wearing a bit faster then it should, causing some gassing issues. That and a extractor spring that needed replaced. And they only had issues with it around 5000 rounds. And they mentioned the BCG typically is considered to have a service life of 5000 rounds...

Garand Thumb tests PSA Freedom AR15

Like he mentioned at the end of the video he would rather see someone buy one of these PSA's and a few thousand rounds and train with it vs buying like a BCM and no ammo. But honestly one of the higher priced PSA's with a FN barrel and a better BCG it should do just fine.

Garand Thumb tests PSA Freedom AR15

It's a longer video but for those of us who own a PSA AR15 it's worth a watch. I had already been thinking of getting a new better BCG and this confirms that.

      Black powder divide

For me I don't really see the appeal of a inline muzzleloader, other then exclusively for deer hunting. But for me even deer hunting, I would rather take my replica Hawkin .50 cal then a inline muzzleloader. Its my understanding that muzzleloader deer season is pretty much the only reason...
