Not that I believe for a second that we’re going to vote our way out of the outhouse we used to call America.
Except for very, few Politicians suck. They are out for themselves. R to D and everything in between.
The rule appears to take the Huge step requiring an unlicensed seller to run a background check (fill out form 4473) through an FFL. Once this is accepted it’s a much smaller (and easier) step to require ALL sellers (private sales) have an FFL run a background check and fill out a form 4473.

From a quick read it appears as if it’s for people selling as there main means of profit.
Seems like this could easily lead to all sales between individuals.
I totally screwed up the belt clip on my IWB DeSantis holster. I emailed them last Friday asking what I could do to fix it. They said it would be taken care of and asked for my address. I received a new clip in the mail today. 3 minutes later it’s back to normal.
I offered to pay for the part...
1. Some people specify the need to see a potential buyers LTCH and IN drivers license. I am wondering the reason(s) behind this practice. What if someone relies on Constitutional Carry and does Not have a LTCH? I understand asking to see a legal identification (ie - drivers license). Especially...
It was built in the mid 90’s so I’d bet it is either 5.56 or 223. Were there other calibers available 30 years ago?
Really great information. I appreciate everyone’s input helping me.
I have stripped everything off the barrel that could even possibly cover any information with No success.
Correct me if I’m wrong but to my knowledge it’s safe to fire 223 in a 5.56 firearm but 5.56 in a 223 is Not recommended.
I agree 100%. The information “should” be stamped on the barrel. Problem is that neither is stamped anywhere on the barrel and I’ve looked at every square inch several times.
Just my opinion but a Smith lever action gun just “feels” wrong. Kind of like Remington or Mossberg when they entered the handgun industry. It would be like Winchester announcing they are going to produce single action revolvers.
This may end up being a great rifle but when someone mentions...
Anybody ever run into an AR upper without any markings? Trying to help a guy figure out what he has. I know it was purchased just after the Clinton attempted ban (mid 1990’s) It has a heavy target barrel and the carry handle is attached. There are zero and I mean absolutely No Markings of any...

You kind of talked in circles. You deride “guys like me” for turning their 10/22s into exactly what we want. Then (in the same sentence/paragraph) ask “why not build one up?”
“Build one up” is EXACTLY what I did. Started with a very inexpensive 10/22 and turned it into exactly...
