Derogatory? Telling you the truth that a gun listed for sale at a LGS listed for $700 means the LGS only paid $4-500 for it? Or asking you how many rounds a month you plan to shoot a cheap 9mm that you want to purchase?
None of your business to butt in. I was asking him a question. I don't need your approval.
Now back to the OP's question. You'd get raped selling or trading a Ruger 1911 since it's a low end gun and doesn't command a premium price. I can get 45ACP for 39 cents per round. The small amount extra...
If you want to purchase for collectibility and future value appreciation, then get a real HK P7. If you want a shooter, the P7Pro looks like a good alternative to the real thing.
You were referring to your P320 which isn't made in any Germany. I too have a Tysons Corner, a P220 with the early spur hammer and ALL my Sigs were made in Eckernförde.
Supposedly Canik has redesigned the S to remedy the mag over insertion issue. Sounds like you have one of the modified ones. Hope it continues to provide you good service. I have a standard Rival that I love to shoot. Best stock polymer trigger I've ever tried.
Those 25 were built from NOS HK components with a few US made small parts, mainly spring pins and other small parts. I think his first 100% built in house guns are supposed to be finished soon.
Not a completed P7. I've purchased some NOS HK parts from him and he's very reputable with quick shipping and reasonable prices. He's on HKPro and has a great reputation there. He's making a small run of titanium P7s as well and steel versions.
HK was one of the pioneers in MIM. Their MIM is not a point of failure and to sell an HK simply because of MIM parts is, how you say, "less than intelligent".
As the saying goes... There's MIM and then there's HK MIM. MIM got a bad rap from the crap that Kimber puts out and that's how they got...
