      45/70

      Loaded some 45/70 and test fired them:D 300gr cast from Miester bullets over 46 gr 3031 pretty good whomp but some unburned powder not very good group:( with peep sight @ 50 yd. 10 inches. 300gr cast over 13gr SOLO 1250 Nice 25 yd first two shots almost in the same hole:D ken

      :): picked up a marlin 45/70 :D anyone here load for one. Where to find cast bullets maybe in north central IN. What about gas checks? good - bad what are the advantage, or not. Probaly not full house loads for now. ken

      I have some 200 gr cast bullets and can't find anything for "alliant 2400" just because I have some powder, or is there something better? Ken

      scope help

      I am looking for a scope for a .22LR to shoot 50 ft. matches. I have a simmons 3-9x32 and can't get it to focus at 50ft. I shoot with some guys that have a winchester 52 match with a 10x scope and their very clear and fine crosshair. Any help would be great Ken
