Bought a new 686 snubnose, and missed a few things on inspection before I bought it (and so did the factory). The yoke/frame point had an unusually large gap. There was also a slight amount of front to back play in the yoke, and the cylinder would knock against the forcing cone when the gun was pointed down.
Anyway, sent an email to Smith-two days later got a shipping label. 10 days after I shipped it, it's back in my hands, with a new yoke and screw. Works and looks great.
