so i think my ball joints my be shot on my pick-em-up truck and thought i would get some opinions from the ingoers. i replaced the wheel hub bearing assembly on both sides a few months back and know thats not the problem. tie rods are tight and in good shape. tires were rotated and rebalanced 5k ago..

    symptoms
-tire cupping on medial portion of tire
-metal on metal screech (used some penetron and the sound lessened alot)
    - slight wobble in steering wheel from 35mph+
-minor play in tire when front end jacked up(puss on top of tire and pull on bottom of tire)
-when hitting a rough spot, truck pulls to side slightly

with all that, i really think thats upper/lower ball joints are the culprit but want to make sure i didnt miss something before i buy parts and spend the many hours tearing the front end apart. thanks in advance
