Now, more than ever, as the body of Christ we need to see the need for security in churches. The Bible tells us that in the last days that evil will increase and we are seeing exactly that. And, to be honest, we have not seen anything yet. Legally, churches have a duty to protect those who are on their property.
One of the most dangerous things that we see are churches that have members who carry concealed (or openly) that think they are able to protect themselves or those in the church without proper training. Truth is that most people really do not have the necessary skills to protect themselves while out on the street. People who carry without the proper skills and knowledge are not only a danger to themselves but to those around them who have no idea that they are in danger and the same is true in churches across the nation.
Contrary to popular belief, not all church security training is equal. Most church security trainers give lectures as “training”. What you really need in order to properly protect your facility is a multilayered training program and we are the only ones to offer such a thing. Lectures are fine for some things, but they do not give you hands-on training which is paramount to successfully protecting your congregation. Without practical hands-on exercises, you stand very little chance of successfully mitigating a physical encounter.
