22 Hornet - thoughts?

I am thinking about buying a Winchester Model 43 made in the early 1950's. I was wondering if I could get some pro's/con's on the gun. I don't have a specific reason for buying other than it is in great original shape/scope. Thanks for any comparisons, buy this instead of that, personal experiences or thoughts about with this weapon. Thanks

22 hornet works for all sorts of things up to 100 yards..
you will need to reload if you want to shoot it much..

The hornet is a good caliber for small varmints, I'm not very familiar with the Winchester 43.
