300 BO Red Dot Sight

I've got a 300bo with a 10.5" barrel. I recently purchased the Sig Romero5 red dot sight. In the past (5.56) I zeroed them at 33yrds and it would be accurate enough for me at 100, 200 and 300 yards. Is that going to hold true with the 300bo? I just wanted to see if any knew or had a better idea before spending a bunch of ammo. I do not currently have the magnifier for this setup. Thanks.

Depends on bullet weight and velocity.
125gr bullet should be close to the same where the 220gr will not.

Generally it will be a little shorter range as 300 drops quicker. I fine remember off the top of my head but I believe a 50 yard zero will take care out to 200 yards with supers and 125 with subs or something like that.

220gr you'll need a 15yd zero approximately if muzzle velocity is around 1050fps. For it to be on at 100yds.

300 BLK sub = 15 yds / 100 yds. Great info.

i just throw rocks first then aim for the rock that hit the target.
