4473 Fee

Just got back from a local "chain" store. While talking to the counter person I notice a sign stating a $2 charge for processing a 4473. I inquire as to why the fee and he starts telling me that every time they call one in they have to pay. Is he up and up or are they trying to gouge people. They don't seem to sell that much as the same firearms are always there.

Naw not screwing me as I told him the $2 fee would cost him a sale. He didn't seem to care, so I told him good luck as I'll shop elsewhere!
