"AR-10" 308 upper for DPMS Lower

As a result of some exceptionally polite flaming in another thread I made on DPMS' current manufacturing position I'm going to ask the question: Due to the high variability by manufacturer on AR platform .308 caliber rifles, what uppers will function well on a DPMS .308 lower? (308-LR-05LP) I'm looking for this to be a long range gun so a barrel length of 20"+ and a turn of 1/10 would be preferable. Please include manufacturer (non-sales) links so that your suggestions are clear but we're not violating forum rules. Thanks for your input!

Well, AR10 is Armalite's Trademark. And they won't work on your DPMS.

CMMG! And they are nicer than DPMS :-D

308 WIN Uppers

Looks like they have gone up 1-2$ dollars in the past 6 months though, but I'm still a fan of CMMG, a good upper-mid level option.

You can find the uppers for less on distributor websites too, but factory direct gets filled first (usually).
