That Cicada hatch sure helped the 2021 turkey hatch too. It fed a lot of poults and critters that eat poults and turkey eggs. That set up a record turkey harvest this spring.

That's mostly from reintroduction by folks like the National Wild Turkey Federation, along with natural spread and good habitat.
