Ran into another member at the range today and he asked for help in opening boxes of ammo. Jerry (permission granted to use his name) was one of the few that I see outside actually shooting in cooler weather. Admitting that he had parental deficiencies growing up and a lack of you tube instruction on deflowering new ammunition containers, he suggested I post this helpful information. The Manufacturer goes to great lengths to provide user friendly and easy to look at cartridge containers. Many Casual Gun Owners just rip into them as they could not care less about the methods. However, if one wants to properly store the empty brass or remaining ammo, they can come in handy for storage.

Are these the same people that rip open the plastic bag so they can't be closed again in cereal & cracker boxes?
I bet they also opened both sides of the milk carton in school too...
