    Yes. Yes you can.

Made for me by Jim Ryan and JRC holsters. Review to follow as I've got time to test and learn about it.

It doesn't want to flop outward? It looks like it would be top heavy.
I just bought a 6 inch N frame, so interesting seeing this set up...

I just got it, so all the experimenting so far has been just walking around the house, up the stairs, etc. It's pretty stable. Jim and I talked about the design and I suggested a stabilizing flap sort of like on High Noon's "tailgunner" or the Milt Sparks "Executive Companion." Jim adapted the idea to sort of a shark fin look.

    .
Interesting, I've only carried these outside on a belt or in a shoulder holster. Does it feel stable walking around?

The holster is surprisingly quick to draw from. I hope to get to a range that allows drawing this week, but it's not as ungainly as you might expect. One handed reholstering is easy with the way I normally reholster (drag the pistol barrel back over the holster mouth until it drops in, then rock the gun forward and in to the holster.)

    This set up is stable.

35 jumping jacks, a short circular jog, 30 seconds of "hulu hoop" motion, sit down and stand up from chair 10 times, whole circuit repeated 3 times. It never moved.

Now I need a nap. And maybe an ice pack.

I took it to the range today. 2.3-2.4 seconds for draws from concealment (under sports coat) to A-box hits at 10y. Not bad for a cold run with a gun I don't really practice with much. If I hadn't had to fish for the front sight on most of the draws, probably could have gotten to 2.0 or so with a bit more practice.
