Caracal Recall (again)

Clearly related to the Pakistan KB. Even after the first recall I was really hopeful for the carbine and .40 but I can't say that I have much confidence in these guys.

Seems they have some "issues" I almost bought one last summer and decided against it. Kinda glad I did now.

I wont touch that brand, there is a lot of good choices out there for about the same price.

Hmmm.... the gun rags and a few famous gun writers on another forum raved about them.... Im glad I didnt sell all of my Glocks afterall.

We had one (1) come through the shop when they first came out; that was enough for us to decide not to carry them on a regular basis.

What issues did you guys find with the pistol? Just curious as I have never even handled one....

You guys do know that this pistol was designed by Wilhelm Bubits of Glock and Steyr fame...don't you? Yes they are having some issues right now but, a Caracal is a fine handgun. I have two now and love them.

Would be interested also why Bradis doesn't want to sell them any longer? Think you may rethink that position in the future.

Seems like they at least have some awesome warranty support. They aren't even sure what went wrong and they are replacing everyone's model C anyway

And +1 on Bubits!! My favorite carry is a Steyr M9-A1. Was hoping the Caracals didnt suck, but have to agree the UAE is not a location that springs to mind when I think of quality craftsmanship
