I just skimmed the FAQ thread, and couldn't find the answers:

    * My wife and I both have lifetime carry permits.

    * We moved a little over a month ago

    * I notified the State police of the change in address, via the form on their website, sent to the address the form provided.

    * This was done well within the 60 days required.

    * I did not order a new licenses, just gave notification of address change

    * These forms were mailed out two weeks ago now

My questions are: Will I receive a mailing to say they have updated their files, does this process take as long as the original application, and is my permit still valid in the mean time?

You won't receive anything from the State Police, they just change it in the system, you can call to verify they got the letter, LTCH should be good
