Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com

According to the video 37 year old Scott A Smith showed up to the 10:30 pm showing of the new Batman movie a half hour early. A manager and an off duty police officer became suspicious after seeing him sit in the back row, middle and carrying a military type bag. When searched he had a 9 mm pistol and 4 knives on him. They searched his home and car and came across "multiple rifles," a gas mask, and "survivalist type stuff." CNN doesn't state whether the addtional gear was at home or in car or whether car was parked anywhere near an entrance or at the theater at all. Mr. Smith states that he was carrying the handgun and the knives for protection. When informed his wife stated he was into that kind of stuff.

The video states that he will be charged with "carrying in a movie theater" as in ohio you are allowed to carry concealed but not in a public place. (:dunno:)

No information on whether or not he had a handgun license, permit or whatever Ohio calls it.
