Colt 223 Stamped on Upper Receiver

I have a A2 upper receiver on my SP1 Colt AR-15. On the upper receiver, just above the bolt catch, it is stamped COLT 223. In all the photos of AR-15s I've seen on the internet, I have never seen this. What upper receiver do I have and what is the year of the upper receiver? Thanks

1990's era.
The uppers marked as this one are conversion uppers designed to supplement the 7.62x39 guns.
These were never complete AR's, simply colt'sversion of a civilian sale complete factory upper.

Btw, it's marked like that on the side so you knew at a glance what upper was on your lower.
