I am looking for recommendations for the wall shelves that open for easy access. It would be for a 1911 and S&W .357. Thanks much for any help.

Don’t know if it’s magnetic but the manufacturer of my safe, zanottiarmor.com, makes 3 sizes of pull-down/slide-out concealed shelves that fit their safes. They can also be installed in furniture or other locations instead of their safes. Just fyi.

A guy I know used to do custom work like this. Wolfy's Armory. He's got a facebook page. He also does custom foam cuts for rifle and pistol cases. He's around the Indy Airport.

Just curious, what were the key factors/features that pushed you toward these?
I liked the RFID lock and that you don't have to push or pull it like it seems you do with the magnetic lock ones. They also have a battery backup in case you don't replace the batteries in time. It is supposed to warn you when the batteries get low, but in case. Also, yes I have other backup weapons nearby, but this is mostly for something extra.
