    I would crimp. The rounds could develop some set back from the recoil.

    You could load up a mag and fire a few rounds, them remove them and measure the unspent rounds.

    Crimp helps hold the projectil in place while sliding up the feed ramp and helps hold it in place as the powder starts to burn,so pressure can be built up BEFOR the projectiles starts to move, so you can get all the pressure of the powder transferre to the bullet
