I've been playing with the controls on my new BD pistol (not fired or loaded yet). Let me understand this. The decocker serves to take an SA rnd (hammer back), and send it back to DA (harder trigger pull mode) hammer down. If so is this only if the chamber is loaded? I've had the hammer back dry and the decocker lever did nothing most times. Occasionally it would decock. Most times not. The first rnd is always DA followed by SA mode for the rest of the mag? Unless you decock? Some***** is heavy...lol...

if its new it probably just heavy or you're not pushing it hard enough. it will de-cock from single action to half-cock. this is regardless if its loaded or not.

Thanks guys. I just took it out and played with it some more (this sounds more obscene than it is). You were correct about pushing the lever a bit harder. Works every time. How many Hogue rubber grips with finger holds are there for this pistol. I see them @ CZ for $49 and elsewhere for $19. Are they the same? Then there is Hog made by Airhog? Who are they? Holster recommendations?

The Houge grips work just fine on my 75BD and they were somewhere around $20

my p-01 came stock with some rubber grips and they are great. i have an mtac for it. comptac only lists the p-01 for the mtac.
