I have a Dan Wesson 357 mag 6 inch barrel it was made in 1981 no scratches well oiled and taken care of. Here is my issue the cylinder keeps dropping back when emptying spent rounds. Is this a common issue and how do you fix it ?

Might try tightening the ejector rod, (might be left hand thread) had the same problem with my Chiefs special, was hard to open cylinder, and it would slide back. Hope this helps...
