Did taurus quit building long guns

I bought my son a taurus model 62 lever action 22 for his birthday 3 years

ago and now when looking at the taurus web site I dont find any rifles.

Was wondering if anybody knows if they still make rifles.

Or for that mater has anyone bought a taurus 22 rifle (new) lately.

Taurus seems to have shifted their rifles over to their sister company, Rossi. Rossi USA

What sweetums said. They've basically made Rossi be their rifle division. Same Taurus guns, just a different division.

Very cool! Hopefully they left it magazine compatible with an existing pistol platform (I would presume theirs). I'm going to have to read up on this!

Knowing Taurus though, they are bad about overshooting release dates frequently.
