    “The agency is currently actively looking to update its recommendations for KN95 and N95 in light of omicron,” the official said. “We know these masks provide better filtration.”

    These mask are actually supposed to stop the virus if you keep your hands clean before touching them.

    Also the n95 and kn95 manufacturers probably want a big chunk of the Covid-19 money pie.
    Unless one is elderly or very sick already, it is beyond me why anyone would want to avoid being exposed to omicron.

    Wait...oh yeah. To flatten the curve.
