I have a bunch of mismatched junk ammo that a grandparent left behind.

All of it shows signs of bad corosion and the shotgunshells show signs of being swelled out. Most of it is rimfire stuff.

Obviously I wont be shooting it. Some of this crap may be old enough to have corosive primers too. Is there an easy way to "demil" it. I would like to be rid of it.

If I remember right most of this junk is 22 long (NOT 22 LR, but long) and 22 short...

I have not seen that crap in ages...

Would it be safe to take pliers and pulls the leads out of the 22s?

If you have a vice, put the bullet in the vice and grab the body of the case with the pliers and separate the two. If you need any help disposing of the rest, let me know, I'm in boone county.

I do that all the time with bad 22LRs. Easy to do, particularly when you only have a small quantity to handle. One needle nose for the case and another to twist off the bullet. Not sure how long it would take on a larger quantity.
