DPMS LR-243 and Recon .308 model lowers

Are the DPMS LR and Recon lowers interchangeable?

I am thinking of getting the .308 Recon model but would like to put a .243 upper on it down the line which I think is only available in the LR-243 unless they may an unadvertized .243 Recon upper.
