Engraved Detonics

Just picked this one up. Was wondering if anyone has seen this type of engraving before? It is signed BB 87 on the bottom of the front of the grip frame.

Actually got it on Gunbroker from a gun shop in Tennessee, and didn't pay a rediculous price for it.

Was it by chance Paul's Gun Room (outside Nashville)? I bought a Colt Commander from him.
