Just bought my first safe and after moving everything into it got to thinking about how best to organize things. Particularly magazine organization but open to any and all favorite items and ideas. Lets hear em.

I separate things according to purpose/use:

pistols on hooks on the door; long guns in their vertical space; and shelves divided by:

    Practice ammo 1) reloads
    2) factory ammo I'm not set up to reload (.22lr, shotgun)

Defense ammo and mags for carry pistols

Misc. gear, mags, that aren't for SD

one of the great things that I've put in my safe is the motion lights, Whomever thought it was a good idea to paint the inside of a safe black should be locked in one for a while. I don't care if there is oil and carbon marks from guns you still have to see the darn things.

I have tried different ones from amazon and such and each month they keep getting better so just keep watching and you won't regret it

I talked to the owner of Secureit Tactical at the NRA show last year and they had some pretty good organization accessories.

a piece of peg board on the door. That is what Johnson safes does. At first I was like this isn't going to work but he has some special hooks and what not and I can store stupid amounts of stuff on that peg board. It's awesome. literally couple rifles, numerous handguns and all kinds of mags etc in a shoe organizer that I put on the hooks
