What a bunch of hogwash! Why do I have to had an ID to drive a car, buy beer and cigarettes, get on an airplane, cash a check, and a myriad of other things, but not to prove who I am and that I am a citizen and registered to vote? The idea that it hurts minorities is a load of crap. Just another way to enable voter fraud. It is so blatant and obvious. :xmad:

I always like how they harp about how few documented cases of voter fraud their are. Well of course there aren't many. How exactly do you detect it? I'm guessing if we checked someone's plates against their name at the voter's booth there would be serious privacy and voter intimidation charges leveled. In Indiana, police are restricted from being at the polls except in certain situations. It is almost impossible to detect without an admission.

If you can't get a gov't issued ID there's probably a reason for that. Like you don't qualify to vote.
