I took my THM Phantom QD LW to my shop (ZRTS) and Ti-anodized it from the normal bead blasted silver to a nice burnt bronze. What do you think??? I think it goes with the FDE rifle pretty well.

It's permanent. It's the titanium oxide itself turning colors. Even if the few micron thick layer of color gets scratches, a redip and charge touches it up instantly.

My secret! It wouldn't matter if it leaked anyway, The Ti and Inconel should not be degraded by 10% H2SO4. A good rinse after takes care of it if any leaked.
