are there any glock techs here that can tell me what parts exactly i need to put the 3.5 lb trigger in my glock 23 like what i have in my glock 19. my 19 was done by glockworks at the 1500 and he also put a extended slide release on, is the extended slide release a factory part as well. where can i purchse all of these parts?

You need a 3.5# (aka "-" or "minus") connector.

is the extended slide release a factory part as well.

I don't know whose part Glockworks installed in your other pistol, but there is a factory extended slide stop available.

where can i purchse all of these parts?

Lone Wolf Distributors among others. Might also check your local gun shop.

ok thanks i will cheak lonewolf, i wasent sure if the "tigger job" was more than just that conector or if there were springs to go with it.

also i had a tech tell me not to change the firing pin spring from a differant one that stock becasue it can cause light fires, any truth in this?

Yes that is true, at least in my case.. I bought the lone wolf "Pro Pick" trigger kit and it came with a reduced firing pin spring and i put it in and went to the range. I had a bunch of light strikes were it wouldn't fire the cartridge due to not striking hard enough

To make it more confusing there is now a "dot" connector for the Gen 4 to get the trigger pull reduced to match a stock Gen 3. In a Gen 3 that should get you somewhere between stock and the 3.5# connector.
