We were out shooting at my wifes Grandfathers and he brought some guns out. I couldn't pass up the chance to shoot it. It is considered a varmint round, and I can see why. I really liked it. I am getting him a box of of ammo for it for Fathers day. If you get a chance it's a neat gun to shoot.

I had an XP 100 a while back in 7mm BR. Man I wish I had not let it go. XP100 is a great handgun and I wish Remington would make them again, even if it were a limited run.

I like shooting mine, they are fun.

Did the one you shoot have a scope? If so what was on it? I only ask as I'm looking to replace the one on my XP100 It's a Burris 1.3x15.

When I was growing up, that was the coolest gun anyone could possibly own!

Never did buy one when I grew up, but I still think they're cool.

I have 2 of them. One in 35 remington and one in 223 remington. Both are very accurate. The 35 wears a leopold 2.5-8 and the 223 wears a 8.5-25 leopold lr rifle scope. I bought the 35 remington to hunt wild boar but have never taken it. The 223 was for varminting.

I've been regretting letting a black factory plastic stocked .35 get past me (long time ago but still stings).
Rather get the Custom Shop walnut model...........but I bet they are even more ridiculous in price.
I'll just have to tolerate a Contender :(
