I am 18 so I can't purchase a handgun from a retailer. However, I can buy a handgun through a private sale. If I bought a handgun on Gun-Broker I would have to get it shipped to my FFl...

    1) Would Gun Broker be considered a private sale (since it is between me and the seller)
    2) If I got it shipped to my FFL would I be able to go get it from them?

    Thank you, yet again, INGO.

    1) if you are buying from an individual, and not a shop that is selling on GB

    2) doubtful. it's unlikely the shop will transfer to you.

An FFL cannot legally transfer a handgun to you until you're 21. Since that would be required for anything transferred from another state, you'll need to find one for sale in Indiana.

You need to purchase via a face to face private transfer with a same-state resident.

Buy one cash from a Gun Show or from a private person.
Any gun you buy from the internet has to be shipped to an FFL who will do an FBI check.

Also to clarify, only guns shipped from a resident of another state have to go through an FFL. You can buy "over the internet" from another Indiana resident and they can ship directly to you.
