Hi, everyone! My name's Larry. I currently live in Southern Indiana, and work locally as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). I'm also a USCCA Certified Instructor in the following disciplines: Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals, Countering The Mass Shooter Threat, Women's Handgun & Self Defense Fundamentals, Emergency First Aid Fundamentals, and Children's Firearms & Safety Fundamentals. Furthermore, I am a USCCA Certified Range Safety Officer, an ALERRT and TEEX Certified Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Instructor, a Stop The Bleed Instructor, and soon to be an American Heart Association Instructor.
I am a firm Second Amendment absolutist, but I'm also completely against the irresponsible use of firearms, to include carrying without training. This next statement may upset some, but I also believe that firearms proficiency and knowledge are highly perishable, and that recreational shooting does not count as training.
I'm looking forward to finding out what I can learn here, as well as what I can contribute.
