Anyone have any info or know anything about these pistols? From what I've read this pistol is the first model of the .25acp that was manufactured and I guess is considered the Browning Model 1906 or 1905? It's a pretty neat little pocket gun, and the history that I've found on it describes it as a vest gun. It was given to my dad and has been passed down from generation to generation. My dad turned to me and asked me to get it functional again. It is missing a magazine and a firing control spring? My dad bought a magazine from someone that said it would work but it was for the Baby Browning, but it appears that the magazine does not go far enough into the gun for the round to clear the feed ramp and load a round into the chamber. I've done a little looking on the web, but have been unsuccessful at finding parts. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

On the slide of the gun it reads... "Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre Herstal Belgique - Browning Patent Depose"

Hear's a couple pics, and the one pic is one I found on the web with the spring I need circled.

    Hi,
Try looking for a model 1906 browning. Both this one and the colt 1908 are the same gun, and magazines and the spring should fit either one the same.

Edit: I see you already knew that..lol.. I posted sources for the stuff you need below.

I have one just like yours. It definitely is an FN Browning Model 1906, also called the "vest pocket." It is the same pistol as the Colt "Pocket 25 Hammerless" (on the Numrich gun parts page) and the parts will interchange between these two guns.
It is not a "Baby Browning," nor is it a Colt "Junior."

You need a firing pin spring. Look under Browning, 1906 on the Numrich page; part number 501910B ($4.45); and a magazine, part number 152470 ($38.25).

They are fun to shoot but the sights sure are tiny.
