I have a reloader that I was going to use with 12 gauge but have decided just to do blackpowder with my adapter. So I want to sell or trade my set up but don't know exactly what I have so I don't know what to ask for it. Can anyone help? Here are a few pictures. 27332422_10160100384480624_6171658516796480046_n.jpg 27331961_10160100393165624_622492982009374942_n.jpg The top says its a "universal charge bar model d" which says it goes with a MEC of some sort. Please help me.

You're missing the primer tray and maybe the parts for the primer feed system. Current state, I'd guess $150 - $175 (might be on the high side.).

Check out eBay to get an idea but don’t be fooled by what folks are “asking.” Find one or two if you can on eBay and track them thru the auction until they sell. As mentioned above, you don’t have all the parts - or at least they are not shown in th pic - and even tho the parts are readily available from MEC, MEC ain’t Dillon and they don’t replace them for free.

AND, I would assume most folks who have never owned a press will want a complete working press - probably the same for folks who actually know a little about reloader. BTW, if it’s a 650 that means it doesn’t have a resize station, which isn’t always a deal breaker, but doesn’t enhance the value either.

BTW, what gauge are the arrows ?

I have the complete version of the same press. You can still buy replacement parts for these and their customer service is very personal, as in the guy sat on the phone with me advising for 15 minutes and he is a tech, not an operator. I hadn't given this company a dime.

It is a great shotgun press and you already have the upgraded charge bar which runs all types of loads from skeet to buck if you want. I bought mine for about $100 at an auction and upgraded to the universal charge bar. I have loaded hundreds of rounds once I got it adjusted right to not crush the shot shell. You would need a primer tray and the powder/shot bottles if you want to enhance the efficiency of it, but it isn't necessary if you want to drop them in by hand. I think if you shoot a lot of SG, you have more value in keeping it than selling it. It's versatile and a tank.

Looks like a 650. Definitely a MEC. Good reloader but not as popular as they once were.
$24 per 100 round boxes of shotgun shells at the big box stores pretty much made me stop using my two. Now, if you were loading high brass, magnum loads or specialty stuff for water fowl, you could still save money.
I used one of mine to reload a lot of .410, when the kids were shooting trap.
Last one I got in a package deal, I sold for $75. All the parts are readily available, if you don't find the missing pieces.

It is either a Mec 600 or 650. Send a picture to Mec and they could tell you what you need. You can buy a complete 600 used for about $50.00 and a 650 for about $150.00

It's a Mec. By the way, if you attend Gun shows, the price of Shotgun reloading equipment and accessories is WAY low today, almost giving it away at the last show I attended. Due to the cost of lead shot reloading no longer provides any savings over purchasing new Skeet or Clay loads. Son and I own a Mec like yours but only will use it for odd loads or magnum buckshot loads.
